WHAT DO I REALLY NEED TO KNOW?
Rioja Fest is a casual, four-hour, indoor tasting event. Similar to a wedding, we encourage you to be on time or you are bound to miss a few special moments. Arrive really late, and you will be just in time for dancing to live music and a festival-style atmosphere
You are bound to experience Spanish culture up close, where parties last hours with good food, wine, and music, and most of all, cherishing old friends and making new ones.
There might be a short wait for food or “tapas,” the small-plate-style dishes we are serving at the event. Spanish tapas culture is designed to encourage conversation before dinner, one bite at a time over great wines. Think of the event as the “appetizer” to your evening. The festival concludes at 5 p.m., so you can make an early dinner reservation at your favorite Spanish or small plate restaurant afterward (We suggest 5:00, 5:15 or 6 p.m.).
Food is planned through 4:15 p.m., and the last pour is at 4:45 p.m.

WHAT'S ON THE MENU?
In Rioja, we love our bodegas - that's wineries in Spanish! At the Rioja Wine and Tapas Festival, we match them with these culinary delights - but remember, this is a wine tasting and food is secondary, don't come expecting to eat dinner or a meal, you will have snacks, and bites, but you are enjoying wines from Spain's most prominent wine region, Rioja!
